a new Azul pass, suffering from hyperinflation
5 March is the deadline if you want to purchase the new edition of Azul‘s “Passaporte”. The pass allows for unlimited flights during March and April (initially the pass was sold as being valid only for March; Azul suddely changed its mind and extended the period), with the exception of Fridays and Sundays.
The 2009 of the Passport had a cost of R$499. We presented it at Azul launches its Passport – beware of the restrictions!. The 2010 Passport is suffering from hyperinflation and will set you back R$899.
If the price is not a problem, go to Azul’s website and read carefully all the rules.
We bought the 2009 pass and were quite happy with our purchase. But with the new price it has become a far less appealling deal, at least to us.
