Taca, the Central American airline, has plans to increase its number of flights from Porto Alegre to Lima. The company wants to double the amount of weekly flights, currently three, to six. The increase would take place during the first quarter of 2012.
Portuguese airline TAP has confirmed it will begin flying between Lisbon and Porto Alegre on 12 June. The direct flight will be operated on an Airbus A330. Tickets are already being sold at promotional launching fares.
